Hi guys, welcome to my first beauty post. This week, I am prepping for Coachella, and I wanted to share some must-haves for skincare with you guys. It’s going to be in the high 80s-90s this weekend in Indio, which means less is more! Pictured below is the top five beauty products I can’t go without.
Juice Beauty 2-in-1 cleanser: This organic cleanser is a staple piece in my daily regimen. I use this twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. It’s amazing because it helps dissolve makeup residue (which is extremely important every night after Coachella), cleanses and tones the face, and it’s organic. To follow, I normally apply a serum and/or moisturizer.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer: I love this one specifically because it is a pore minimizer. Being out in the heat and desert means there will be a lot of dust in the air. To help minimize my pores so that I’m photo-ready, I love applying this primer before any face makeup.
Coola Mineral Sunscreen: I have normal to oily skin and this sunscreen works great for my skin type. This is another organic product, and it’s considered a CC cream. Living in LA, this product is important for me because it has spf 20 and is great for wearing underneath face makeup for extra protection from the sun. It offers a consistency that is similar to a tinted moisturizer and has a matte finish.
Jane Iredale Mineral BB Cream: This product has been my ride or die for several years now. This product is great for Coachella because I only need to apply a thin layer all over my face. It is super lightweight and breathable on my skin, while still offering great overall coverage.
Urban Decay All-nighter Setting Spray: I’ll most likely be dancing the night away at Coachella, which means I will need my makeup to last all day. I can’t be having a melted face, halfway through the day you know… With a good makeup setting spray, I’m able to dance without any worries. I’ve tried several different kinds before and this is still one of my favorites. I normally spray about 4-5 squirts onto my entire face right after my makeup is done so everything can set and I’m pretty much ready to go for the rest of the day.
If you guys decide to try any of these products, please let me know what your thoughts are in the comments. I’d love to hear your feedback!
