Hi loves – happy Monday! Today, I’m sharing with you all a look I shot with my amazingly talented friend, Minh Nguyen. Minh and I met back in the Bay Area. He’s now a fashion photographer residing in NYC. Most of my favorite collaborations are with him (stay tune), and I’m just so happy to see him live out his dreams!
I love creating content – whether I’m the subject myself, or styling a subject – I enjoy it all. This was a really exciting piece for me because I actually did both the fashion and beauty styling. I was really inspired by the Spring season and wanted to create something that was fun, fresh and feminine. As you continue to follow me on my ventures, you’ll soon unravel that I am the Jane of all trades. Not only do I pull wardrobe and accessories, but I love achieving beautiful makeup looks as well. I believe that every woman is unique in her own way, and her face is a beautiful blank canvas. With the help on some color and artistic direction, her natural beauty can shine through. That’s one of the main reasons why I love styling so much, because it gives me the ability to use my craft to help someone feel beautiful and confident.
I must say, it’s been great having a variety of skills under my belt. There’s been several instances where I was brought onto a shoot as a stylist, where the makeup artist ends up not showing up, and I would step in to do the makeup as well. Every time that’s happened, the shoot was a success and I’m so glad I was able to contribute more!

On another note, I do realize the wardrobe and accessories pulled for this look was all from Forever21. I know the brand is not extraordinary by any means, but as a college student, I love that it’s always on-trend and more on the affordable side.
Let me know what you guys think of this look. Would you wear it?
I hope you all have a wonderful week! I’ll be back on the grind with my studies this week, and then getting ready for an upcoming camping trip.
