What’s up guys! I know it’s been several weeks since I’ve had new content up. To be honest, I was going through some personal things that really affected me and I just didn’t have it in me to post when my mind wasn’t in the right place. I felt the need to disconnect for a bit, regroup, and make sure that I come back stronger and better. There’s so many things I want to create and share with you guys but sometimes, life can hit me like a ton of bricks. As a young professional trying to break into the blogging world, while trying to survive school and maintain a personal life, I’ve definitely experienced my fair share of extreme emotions – the good, the bad, the ugly – I feel like I’ve seen it all in the short time that I’ve had MJanesque. It can be a little discouraging, but I know that I have so much love and passion to put out there into the world, which is why I’m not going to give up!

To all my dreamers out there, do you have any tips for me? How can I stay positive and steer clear from falling into a funk? Are there others out there who want to connect with me and build a support system together? I’ve definitely hit a point in my life where I just want to surround myself with people, things, and experiences that help me become a better person. I want to do more with my career and hope to find people who truly appreciate my work and who I am as a person. This summer, my goals are quite simple: stay active and work on my fitness journey, read more, and experiment with cooking different recipes. I also want to commit to a better routine so that I can continue creating content and share them more regularly. By the end of summer, I’ll be saying bye to my MBA education and finally taking my career to the next level. I’m excited to start a new chapter in my life, but until then, I want to focus on being present and truly enjoy this part of my journey.

Now that it’s officially summer, I’ve been pretty busy with nonstop company visiting from out of town. From my graduation ceremony and helping my sister move to having company visit every week, my life has been hectic. It seems like I haven’t had any time to just relax. Summer is my favorite season so it was really exciting to pull out some of my fun bathing suits. Can you believe this one is under $30 and from Forever21? I love simple, affordable pieces like these!

This week, I’m heading to Alberta, Canada. I’ll be visiting Banff National Park and attending a wedding. I’m super excited to be going on vacation and being able to use this opportunity to work on my craft. I’m going to try to vlog my experience to share with you guys. I’ll be back the beginning of next week with a new post for you guys. Be sure to check back 🙂 I hope everyone’s having a great summer so far! Enjoy the rest of your week/weekend!!

Until next time
